Physician Assistant job in Dothan AL

Flowers Hospital located in Dothan, AL is seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a hospital-employed group.

• 100% inpatient role
• Procedures include thoracentesis, thoracostomy tube placement, needle aspiration, lumbar puncture
• Diagnose and provide comprehensive management of acute and chronic conditions of high-risk neonatal patients
• Order, conduct and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmocologic therapies
• Communicate with the families of neonates, providing information on the condition and plan for their baby in a compassionate manner
